Institute functions under the patronage of Dadaji Dhuniwale Professional Education & Development Co-operative Ltd.,Khandwa & is managed by Technocrats who have excelled in their respective profession. Since inception it is endeavoring for the quality and excellence in the technical education.
Within a short span of nine years, SDITS has earned reputation not only in the”NIMAR” region but also in the entire state of Madhya Pradesh. Founder Chairman of society, Late Shri Tanwant Singh Keer (Ex. Minister), has putted his effort to promote quality education along with Shri Rana Sajjan Singh an Agriculturist.
S.D.I.T.S is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University as pronounced RGPV, is the State Govt. authorized Technical University. This University is established in the year 1998, by Madhya Pradesh VidhanSabha Act 13, 1998. Over a sprawling Campus of about 247 acres, the Rajiv Gandhi ProudyogikiVishwavidyalaya is marching towards development into a center of excellence in the arena of Technical Education, Research and Innovations. Under its umbrella theUnder its umbrella there are 05 UTD's, 200 affiliated Engineering Colleges, 98 Pharmacy Colleges, 95 MCA Colleges and 04 Architecture Colleges imparting Graduate level instructions running around 17 under graduate level courses, 57 Polytechnic institutions offering diploma courses.

MCA Department has always been on the path of progress with quality education in the field of professional Master’s degree in computer Applications. The institute headed by a dedicated team of renowned person having zeal to provide excellence in education and to create the talent for future.

The Department of Computer Applications offers Post-graduate course. It has its own separate building; computer laboratories equipped with high configuration machines, latest software, and internet to fulfill the industrial needs of the students and help to upgrade the knowledge of faculties. An enriched library is with sufficient number of books, journals and e-titles.

The Department has always been on the path of progress, equipped with experienced and dedicated faculties each with a highly qualified degree and has a strong community to technical education.
Research papers in various fields are regularly published by the faculty members. Faculties of the department have a good hand for the guidance of the Post-graduate students in their project work. They excel in their field and provide a strong knowledge base to the students.
