Sasni is a town and a nagar panchayat in Hathras district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.DemographicsIndia census, Sasni had a population of 12,943. Since 1981 Khandelwal Glass Works has been one of the largest manufacturers of Codd-necked glass bottles for Banta soda.The Navin Sabji Mandi, a large fruit and vegetable market is situated on Hathras road. One of the village under Sasni is Bhojgarhi which is situated at a distance of 3 km. Just like any other typical UP villages, economy of Bhojgarhi also hovers around agriculture. Situation of water table in the village is cause of great concern. All the water wells of village have been closed. Main source is tube-wells and boarings. Lone pond of village i.e.Pokhar, lying neglected and polluted with sewage water. Village has no organised drainage plan. There are immense opportunities to provide life to this beautiful village. Village authorities and villagers have been realising the importance dying natural resources. However, anything concrete is yet to come on ground.
