Saro Kai Murukku

I am a self employed middle aged entrepreneur from Coimbatore. For the past 10 years I have been doing many small scale businesses trying to make my share to support my small family. For business purposes I would meet many customers and many customers would come to my home to meet me and whenever I prepare sweets and other beverages for my family I would prepare some extra so I can give the sweets as compliments to the customers. I received very positive feedback about the Kai Murukku and many people suggested that I can start selling them separately as the Kai Murukku is different from what they have had earlier. So I started preparing Kai Murukku and packaged them and started selling them and received quite a good response.

Now I employ 2 other women and prepare Kai Murukku for sale. There was no advertisement or marketing involved and all the business is from customers who have heard about us from other customers.

This is the first time I am trying to reach a wider customer base by marketing on Facebook. I am yet to setup a separate shop and operate out of my home.
