Sankara Eye Hospital, Samarjhola, Odisha is being set up to provide qualitative and affordable eye care to the needy population of Ganjam District and its surrounding areas. The state -of-the-art hospital will extend paying services to those who can afford the same and free services to those who cannot through a rural outreach programme Tata Steel have come forward to fund the setting up of the hospital at a cost of Rs 42.3 crores as part of their CSR initiatives. The Hospital will be built on 4.5 acres of land at Samarjhola provided by the State Government on a 99 years lease.

To this end we are establishing a mulit-specialist tertiary State of The Art eye hospital to be operational by June-2016.
