This is Bhupinder Singh mann.I want to tell you about my village "SALAOUDI SINGHAN dI" tehsil Samrala distt. Ludhiana near khanna city on khanna khamano road and khanna samrala road too.The word "SINGHAN DI" is originated due to very special reason.As we all know BABA AALI SINGH BABA MAALI SINGH .They are two brave singhs from our historical village.They are generals of BABA BANDA SINGH BAHADUR'S sikh faouj.On the sirhind fateh battle they both brave singhs are with Baba Banda Singh Bahadur.
Now lets we talk about our village.Village is divided into four parts in local language we called them patti's.
1>JATTAN PATTI
2>LOKAN PATTI
3>SINGHAN PATTI
4>RAVIDAS PATTI
There are four KHEDA'S (darwaja's), five Gurudwara's and one Mandir in our village.One more Gurudwara sahib l'l far away from our village situated on khanna khamano road.Gurudwara Sahib is constructed in the memory of SINGH SHAHEED BABA SIDH JI MANN.On every diwali there is very huge mela organised by villagers here and on every 9,10,11 march Gurudwara Singhan Patti organised a Dharmik Smagam in the memory of Baba Aali Singh ji Baba Maali Singh ji.There is a Sports club(Baba Sidh Ji Sports Club) in our village where on every 5,6,7,8 feburary club organised a Higher Level Sports meet.There is a Govt. Hospital of 20 beds capacity with all required facilities in our village.There is a Co-opereative Bank too in our village.There is a Govt. Middle School and a Govt. High School in our village where near about 500 students were taught by skilled staff.
Total population of our village is near about 4000 and most of the villagers having the surname "MANN".
The people from all castes and relegions are living together happily without any caste discrimination.
