Salekasa - सालेकसा

Salekasa is the place which most famous for the HAZARA fall which is a waterfall of height more than 150 feet. Also there is so many places to visit especially 'gadhmata devi temple' which is situated in west direction of city. salekasa is famous for its natural beauty. In monsoon there is all over greenery which makes perfect place to visit.
there are also water dams to visit and enjoy the weekends named as kalisarar and kotara. Kalisarar is the place deeply situated in the middle of forest where you can get meaning of beautiful nature.
there are so many famous temple over there which can show the culture of salekasa. the Kachargadh Cave which situated near to the darekasa famous for Gond Dev temple and every year there is fare and feast in mounth of jan-feb. Mahadev temble in Halbitola is nearby from salekasa railway station in which a very big shiv trishula (more than 100 feet) is made by villagers which symbol of Energy which motivate the people to start new things in life..
