Saindhar

Saindhar, known for growing the highest amount of tomatoes in Himachal Pradesh, also known as The Tomato Belt is located in the 2nd range of Shivalik Range. It is also known for the surplus water sources, which irrigate the belt throughout its span from Jalal Khadd at Dadahu (Renukaji) to Qwal Khadd at Yashwantnagar (Giripul). The devine Churdhar Range is clearly visible from Saindhar in the north direction. Chilling icy winds blowing from Churdhar makes Saindhar's climate icy cold in winters and pleasant in rest of the year.
