It is not possible to describe the divinity in few words. There are few fortunate people who are chosen by Bhagwan Sai to spread his inspirations to all. They do not stray from their goals in spite of several difficulties. They forced Sri Sai Baba to come and stay there with all his grace.

Shamli is the Place of UP where you can feel the omnipresence of Bhagwan Sri Sai. This place is 37 km far away from Muzaffarnagar, 70 Km from Meerut, 40 Km from Karnal and 65 Km from Saharanpur. Total Population of the city is 5 lacs.

As an ancient story of Shamli -The earlier name was Shyamwali on the Name of Lord Krishna whose foot was laid on the ground of Shamli in Dwapar age.

In the year of 1997, Sai gave his divine grace and inspiration to one his devotees Shri Gyan Prakash Mittal. The Grace was so divine that he could not stop himself. Shri Gyan Prakash Mittal with his limited resources did the informal celebrations of Baba small format in an ancient Lord Shiv Mandir.

December 3, 1998 in Shamli First time Baba’s Prayer and glory started.

The magnificent temple of Sri Sai Baba in mind was waking a dream of Sri Gyan P Mittal. It is not easy to understand Sai’s divine grace and inspiration about his tasks. The dream of the temple was not so easy which was seen in the conscious state of mind.

December 5, 2006, in the discussions which held at the residence of Mr. Jivan ji where Sri Gyan P Mittal expressed his desire of magnificent Sai Temple in Shamli, all people supported him. Hereafter OM SAI SEVA SAMITI was formed. After that the first thing which came to mind was the land to build the temple. One day Sri Onkar prasad ji saw a dream in subconscious state of mind about Bhagwan Baba in balaji temple. He told that Baba came to Shamli and went into a field at Saharanpur Road and disappeared. The Sai Seva Samiti thought about to purchase the same land but it was very expensive. At last, after sometime SAI opened the new doors. Then 2 hectare land was purchased.

13 March 2008, 251 Kundiya Maha Yagna was organized by Sai Seva Samiti and thousands of devotees participated. From that day the construction work was started and which is going on till date. From the same day the Lords worship and prayers have begun according to time.

Every Thurasday all devotees used to come at Baba’s temple to sing and listen the divine glory of Bhagwan Baba. All devotees get overwhelmed and they feel the place like heaven on Earth. Then after SAI’s parasadum distributed to all devotees.

At this temple you can reminiscent the Shirdi Sai’s Temple. This is going to become the magnificent temple of UP. OM Sri Sai Seva Samiti is working not only for temple but also in the intereset of public welfare. This temple is going to build as like Shirdi’s Sai temple. So you will find the same places here of Shirdi’s Sai Temple like Dwarkamai, Chavdi, Dhunisthan, Sai Rasoi. Also the Sai samiti is going to build School for poor children education, Sai hospital and a place for birds to eat.

Here in the peaceful atmosphere the glories of Bhagwan Baba are going to make Shamli as a pilgrimage place. It is a unique temple where you can feel and realize Sri Sai Baba.
