Saanchi is a continuation of a quarter century old passion of ours, to collect and live around beautiful antique furniture. We sincerely believe that today, more than ever before, retrieving, restoring and reusing antique furniture is vital to our Earth and our environment.

The ancient town of Sanchi, is located in the heart of India, in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Known for India's oldest Buddhist stupa and the Ashoka Pillar, Saanchi means "A Collection" in Sanskrit. It is also another name for Lakshmi, the Goddess of Wealth - a wealth of history, art, design and memories....in our case.
