UNDERSTANDING THE SPACE
When Delhi’s most popular lounge ever decided to go for a makeover after a decade-long outing of great F&B, the dilemma in the design brief was obvious. How do you upgrade without touching its legacy?
The new interiors tell the tale quite perfectly. ‘S’ is now a three-floor experience - a terrace area with a triple height atrium, allowing soft daylight to seep in during the day and enjoying the starlit sky in the evenings. The second floor is all about low seating and soaking in the ‘bar space’ while remaining connected to the DJ console and the first floor dining area.

What started out as an idea for med lounging has now become a philosophy, a way of life, an experience that goes beyond relaxation and makes you reconnect with your inner self. Enthralled critics call it,the Shalom Experience, we call it inner peace.
