We at RISE Foundation ,express our gratitude and thanks for all the relief team colleagues for their support and services rendered to the Chennai Flood Victims.

We wish you all good Health and pray for your family’s well being.

We take this opportunity to describe in brief some of the sincere efforts of myself & team for the past 2 weeks for the service of Humanity during Chennai Floods.

· 500+ Volunteers formed our chain and reached out to serve appx 1.2 lacs lives till Now and are continuing even at the present moment.

· Conducted 160+ medical Camps and rendered first aid and health services and medicines for almost 90,000 people.

· Cooked and distributed 3 tons of Rice and distributed to various location spread over Chennai.

· sprinkled 12 tons of bleaching powder and disinfectants to avoid spreading of water borne disease.

· Rescued 600+ people from disaster zones.

· Unloaded 42 Trucks comprising of Biscuits, water, bread, buns, sanitary pads, diapers, baby foods, medicines , stoves , blankets, fresh milk ( 30,000 lits) 2 lac chapattis. and arranged the proper logistics of storage and distribution.

· Deployed 4 large boats and 15 small boats for rescue operations on war footing. ( Pictures available on request)

· 100 small trucks and vans deployed for transportation of relief material to every nook and corners of city which were not accessible for large trucks.

· Moreover now we are arranging materials for services and repair of infrastructure , such as small houses/ toilets small schools etc.

· A bulk collection point has been arranged inside the premises of Perambur Church and also behind Erukencherry Don Bosco where things can be delivered, for distribution to the needy.
