About PAN
Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card is a photo Identity Card that carries 10 digits alphanumeric Unique Number for every card holder. It is issued by Ministry of Finance (Government of India) and it can be used as Photo Identity to opening Bank Account, to get Passport, travel in train with e-ticket, proof of age etc.

Uses of PAN
PAN is mandatory for these activities:
Filing of Income Tax (IT) return.
Opening Demat Account to buy and sell Share.
Withdrawing or deposit or amount transfer of 50,000 or more from one Bank account to another.
To get the TDS (Tax Deduction at Source) amount back etc.
Eligibility
Any individual, firm, joint venture can apply for PAN Card. For this, there is no any minimum and maximum age limit.

Xerox (self attested) of proof of identity.
Xerox (self attested) of proof of address.

Note: Documents submitted as proof of address for serial numbers 1 to 7 should not be more than six months old from the date of application.


Fee for PAN Card and payment process
The fee for processing PAN application is Rs 200/-
The fee for any correction in PAN Card is Rs 250/-
Fee can be only paid through fund transfer to RAWAT CONSULTANCY PVT LTDBank A/c.
