Rasong Viewpoint - Laitlum Canyons

Once you reached Laitlum you will see a grassy valleys and tiny hamlet called Rasong, which lies deep below the sheer gorge amidst nature’s lust greenery grandeur in all its beauty of the Laitlum gorge.

RASONG VILLAGE

The village has about 500 residents. The inhabitants rely on the only rope way pulley to transport their essential commodities down to the village and vice versa.

In this fast paced technological era, this part of the world seems to have been forgotten. In fact, possibly Rasong is the only place in the country where a hand-pulled ropeway is used for transportation of food grains and other goods.
