The Ramgarhia are a Punjabi community in the Punjab region of northwestern India. They are named after Jassa Singh Ramgarhia who was the leader of the Ramgarhia Misl.
Ramgharia tribe were renowned as skillful and talented in their work of design and carpentry therefore were amongst the British Empire during the early 18th Century. Many members of the Ramgarhia clan migrated to East Africa during the British rule in Africa.
