Ramgarh Fresco

Ramgarh Fresco is a beautifully restored 12 room 110 year old heritage haveli in the quaint town of Ramgarh, Shekhawati, ., formerly known as the Khemka Haveli Ramgarh Fresco was bought and converted into a boutique hotel in 2009 .The décor is simple and tasteful - everything from the elegantly hand crafted wooden furniture to lampshades to the colourful bedspreads to carefully selected art objects, enhances the vibrant paintings that cover the haveli. The haveli is profusely covered with frescoes. The paintings are truly captivating and at the same time offer an incredible variety.

Nestled in the Shekhawati region – the “open air art gallery of Rajasthan” – and surrounded by rolling sand dunes, lies the enchanting town of Ramgarh. Ramgarh is a treasure trove of painted havelis, temples, chhatris (cenotaphs) and johras (water tanks) with some of the most captivating painted havelis (mansions) and monuments in the region - built by rich business families of India more than a century ago. No wonder it is also known as "Ramgarh sethan" – the Ramgarh of rich Merchants.
