rajan’s Badminton Academy (Reg No- BE4/5/S/0065/2015) is one of its kind to promote Badminton in Belgaum. rajan’s Badminton Academy has been actively involved in Badminton Coaching since the past 20 years. As the motto of rajan’s Badminton Academy says, “Committed for Excellence”, the commitment, hard work and the desire to become the best has resulted in rajan’s Badminton Academy propelling many state achievers into the sporting arena.

rajan’s Badminton Academy was started by Mr. Rajan B. Mohire, the chief coach of the academy. Mr. Rajan B. Mohire is a qualified Badminton Coach from The National Institute of Sports. He did his N.I.S certification course from Laxmibai National College of Physical Education, Trivandrum, Kerala.

8) 24*7 CCTV Cameras Survillance, Accommodation & Gym facility.
9) Summer camps in the months of April & May.
10) Quarterly internal tournament is held to keep the players in tab.
11) Pay & Play facility on Saturday & Sundays.
12) Counseling sessions given to trainees from time to time to keep them motivated to learn & play the game more seriously & professionally

Samarthya Mandir’s Chanda Pai & Gogte Badminton Hall, Tilakwadi, Belgaum

1) rajan’s Badminton Academy came into existence from 1st September 1997 at Samarthya Mandir’s Chanda Pai and Gogte Badminton Halls with a motive of producing good badminton players from the city.


2) In 2011, rajan’s Badminton Academy upgraded the infrastructure @ Chanda Pai and Gogte Badminton Hall by laying two synthetic courts of International standard.

3) The academy also installed a gym for the players to improve their strength and endurance.

4) The Inaugurations of the Synthetic courts was done by Former National Player Shri Shrish Gogte on 27th May 2011.

5) The Inaugurations of the Gym was done by International Body Builder Mr India Pritam Chougule on 16th Oct 2012.

6) The academy has CCTV surveillance 24/7 for the safety of the players and the infrastructure.
