Pragnya Wakhlu

Pragnya Wakhlu is a talented singer ,songwriter and guitarist from India. Her songs are about inner reflection ,thoughts , feelings and issues she feels strongly about.
Pragnya beleives in using music as a change-agent and is the founder of her own company Mousai where music is used for transformation & spreading positivity. She was also part of fund-raising efforts through music for critically ill children at the Genesis foundation, the Uttarakhand & KAshmir Flood disasters amongst others.

- She bagged the 3rd place at the ‘Indiego Music Awards (South East Asia 2011) for the Best Female Vocalist and was nomianted for Best Pop Song & Best Genre bending act.
- She is a two time nominee for ‘Best female Vocalist’ at the Jack Daniel’s Rock Awards(2010,2011).
- Nominated for Best Music Debut & Best pop album for the GIMA awards 2013 (Jury included Shankar,Ehsaan,Loy, Pandit Shivkumar Sharma and others)

Pragnya has played at several promenient music festivals in India including
The Storm festival, Kala Ghoda festival, Great Indian October fest, Kasauli Rhythm & Blues festival, Baaja Gaaja etc.
