PMS College of Dental Science & Research is a pristine institution catering to the needs of students yearning for knowledge with a burning curiosity and a desire to reach the pinnacle of professional education. This college is the brainchild of the NRI Service & Educational Trust established in 2002 under the able guidance of the visionary Chairman Dr.P.S Thaha. This college is the first self financing dental institution in Kerala State. We take pride in saying that the institution was the first to achieve the ISO 9001-2000 certification award. Ours is also the first institution to pave its way into the path of postgraduate dental education in all specialities. The PMS College of Dental Science & Research is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Located just 12 kilometres north of Kerala's capital at Vattappara on the M.C. road, the campus of the PMS College is serenity incarnate. Perched atop the Golden Hills, the campus is at once a getaway from the hurly-burly of the city in a self-contained complex where the needs of learning merge with a healthy lifestyle. The PMS College has a built up area of 1,55,000 square feet spanning the lap of the entire Golden Hills. Housed in this sprawling complex are the best clinical and lecture facilities, a well-stocked library, the latest infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipments with separate hostels for boys and girls. PMS College offer both graduate and post graduate courses in eight major branches of dentistry.

With the increasing prevalence of oral cancer and pre cancerous lesion due to the deleterious habits of the indigenous population, the multidisciplinary approach by the Departments of Oral pathology, Oral Medicine and Community dentistry has taken a new dimension in the detection, prevention and treatment modalities.
