Pet Amici

ASD is a complex neuro developmental disorder that affects people's motor, cognitive and emotional skills. ASD rates in India are increasing at a phenomenal pace .Current survey says that 1 out of every 88 children are born with autism in India. This means that approximately every three minutes a child with autism is born in India.

We at pet amici don’t see ASD as a dreadful disorder, but a problem with a possible solution. We intend to help these special children through pet therapy.

Pet therapy involves the usage of pets like dogs, cats, horses and rabbits to improve the functioning of the children. It compliments medication and accelerates improvement in specially abled children. It is scientifically proven that in Pet Therapy when the child interacts with his/ her pet it improves the cognitive and social interaction skills of that particular child with ASD.
Pet amici plans to use abandoned pets from the blue cross to provide pet therapy. In this process we are able to find a new friend and partner for the pet which changes its life forever.
