Paria is a village situated near Vapi in Valsad District, Gujarat. India. The town of Udwada, 5km away from Paria, has a railway station which connects Paria to Mumbai and western Gujarat.Paria is under the Jyoti-Gram project of the Gujarat government.DemographicsMost Paria residents follow Hinduism, The population is around 9000 and of that the Dhodia Patel community form 97 per cent. The remainder are Brahmins, Desai Chhodiya, Halpati, Koli Patel, Muslim, Jains, and Marvadis.
