Pandrangi Village

History :

It was under the control of Suryavanshi Kshatriya (Raju) kings of Pusapati Clan of Vizianagaram from 16th century. In 1700s, the present Village Panchayat (includes 7 villages) were granted as Mokasas along with a fort which was in telugu called "Nootokka Dwaram Kota" means "fort which has 101 entrances" to their Brother-in-laws who belongs to Raja Sagi Clan. But later, the fort was vanished due to its oldness and some other reasons, so the ancestors of present Raja Sagi family had built another mansion in the place of that fort in Pandrangi Village. Gosthani River flows through this village. This village was also the Birth Place of freedom fighter, Shri Alluri Sitarama Raju.
