Nmj matriculation school

The N.M.J. Matriculation School was started in 1989-90. This is a Sub Committee of Neyveli Muslim Jamaath, which is a Registered body under Societies Registration Act of the Government of Tamilnadu. The above Jamaath is also recognised by the Neyveli Lignite Corporation Limited as a social, religious and cultural body. The N.M.J. Matriculation School is managed by a committee comprising of well experienced, highly educated dedicated and qualified personnels in different fields.

There are many schools in and around Neyveli to impart English Medium Education to the wards of employees of N.L.C. and others, but certain people, who are in the lower/ middle income group, are finding difficult in getting such education for their wards. Keeping this in mind, the Jamaath, as one of its social obligations, has decided to run a Higher Secondary School of its own to cater the needs of these people specially for the linguistic minority community.

The School provides education from L.K.G. to X Std. The school is situated in the heart of the township (Block-12)with all infrastructural facilities and well structured school building. The school is administered by well qualified, dedicated and rich experienced Teaching Staff and Principal.

The medium of instruction of the School is English and Tamil / Hindu is being taught as first language, Arabic and urdu is also taught as optional language apart from moral education to all the pupils irrrespective of their faiths and beliefs. The fees are structured moderately with "No profitablility". The admission is open to one and all with equal rights and privileges. The recruitment of Staff is also not limited to one community.
