National Institute of Biologicals

The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) has been established to fulfill the need for high standard Quality of Biologicals / Immunobiologicals in India. Prime objectives of the institute are to undertake Batch release testing of Biologicals, develop and lay down standards for Quality Immunobiological product being produced indigenously as well as imported in India.

The institute functions as an autonomous organization under the aegis of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It is registered under the Registration of Societies Act, 1860.
