Nashirabad

Nashirabad is a small town about 10 km from Jalgaon district in the north side of Maharashtra state of India. It was named by the name of 'Nasiruddin Badshah'. The population includes Leva Patidar, Muslims, Mali, Teli, etc. which are running so many businesses. Main business to earn bread and butter is farming of banana tree, sugar cane. Nashirabad is on National Highway No. 6 (Surat-Kolkata National Highway) and has many warehouses of local products. Nashirabad is in Jalgaon district. At the time of Moughal empires name of Nashirabad was Solnimbhore. The main reason behind this was, Nashirabad had 16 Hanuman temples and 16 main big doors. In the period of Ahilyabai Holkar (31 May 1725 to 13 Aug 1795) she made a temple (1760) in Nashirabad and only one temple in Nashirabad as old as Ganpati temple, but at this moment, this temple is unknown to each and every people in Nashirabad.Transport facilitiesMost people depend on Public transport, commonly known as "ST" and private hire vehicles like auto-rickshaw for commuting to and from district and taluka places like Jalgaon and Bhusawal.
