Salient Features

1) Numero Uno: Declared as Numero Uno among the Engineering Colleges started in 1997 by Dr.R.Natarajan, the then IIT Director Madras and presently Chairman, AICTE.

2) Accreditation by AICTE: Moghal is the very first engineering college amongst 191 engineering colleges affiliated to JNTU to be accredited by the National Board of Accreditation of AICTE.

3) Technology Development and Test Centre: Moghal has established this Test Centre only one of its kind in the country in cooperation with an industry to test equipment used in underground mines with the approval from Director General of Mines Safety.

4) Personality Development of Students: Stress is given on the personality development while improving the soft skills right from their induction to the College.
Right from the beginning of their career in the college, they are given training in the improvement of learning capabilities like improving skills of writing, listening, reviewing, management of memory and time and ways to assess their strong and weak points periodically to help improve themselves.

5) Professional Society Activities: The Institute encourages professional society activities like that of ISTE, IEEE, IETE, CSI, IIF etc., Under the banner of ISTE and IEEE Annual National Technical Paper Contest. Moghal has the largest membership of students in ISTE and IEEE in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

6) Merit Awards Competition: Sri A.P.Ranganatha Swamy Memorial Charitable Trust donated Rs.5.00 lakhs for conduct of Merit Awards Competition among final year students of A.P. and also for other activities of ISTE Students chapter.

7) lndustrial Training and Projects: The students are encouraged to get industrial training during winter and summer holidays and do their final year projects in industries to get exposure to the industrial environment and get the confidence desirable.

8) Glittering Results in University Examinations: Moghal has the best results in the university examinations so far ranging 100%.

9) Industry Institute Interaction: Senior professors of the college fan out to reach various industries and apprise them of the efforts of Sreenidhi in improving the standards of technical education and also to seek their suggestions in improving the curriculum and Mopghal has conducted a Industry Institute Interaction Meet in the year 2000 with a large number of senior executives from the industries (software, electrical, mechanical, electronics etc.) and officials from academia attended to identify the gaps between the curriculum and the requirement with the industries and recommend ways to bridge the gap. Another such meet is proposed to be held shortly.

10) Entrepreneurship Management and Development Cell and Industry institute Partnership Cell and Research Activities:
Moghal is happy to state that it has been accorded permission by the AICTE to start Entrepreneurship Management Development Cell and Industry Institute Presentation Cell. The Department of Science and Technology has approved the establishment of Entrepreneurship Development Cell at the college to help the unemployed technically qualified/skilled personnel to take to entrepreneurship from among Engineering graduates, Diploma holders, artisans and others.
Seven research proposals by Faculty submitted to AICTE have been short listed for approval.
12) Campus Recruitment:
Reputed Companies like M/s.Satyam Computers & M/s.Tata Consultancy Services have come to Moghal campus and selected a large number of students to serve in their establishment. We are expecting M/s. Infosys, M/s.Wipro etc., also to be visiting us shortly. Efforts are on to get their approval in this regard.
M/s.G.E.lnternational Business Centre, M/s.HCL Technologies/Info systems, M/s.Danlaw Technologies and M/s.Sierra Atlantic have agreed to come for Campus Recruitment in the month of March 2011.
Many of our students are working in reputed organisations such as Infosys, DRDO, Tecumseh etc.
