Model English High School, Jorhat

The school was established at Nakachari, Deberapara Chariali in the year 1991 with the untiring efforts of Late Latit Borpujari, ex-principal of Nakachari Higher Secondary School and the contribution of few ex-students of Nakachari H.S. School, some tea garden community leaders of Kakojan T.E. and the local people of greater Nakachari. Presently the school is managed by the Model Educational and Welfare Association, Nakachari. The guardians whose wards are studing in the school are the well wishers and donors of the school.
The school aims at all rounds development of a child, i.e. his/her body, mind and spirit. Its aim is to give moral training to the pupils through curricular and co-curricular activities. Stress will be given on important and lessons of life i.e. discipline, punctuality and neatness. In fact, the main aim of the school is to make the pupils good citizens of the country.
