MODATIVE an innovative way of doing things. Modative is a multi-disciplinary design practice whose work seamlessly weaves exterior and interior spaces, from large architectural ideas to the smallest of furniture details.
We like the fact that designing a space offers the opportunity to build in layers which unfold differently for different people.
We deal with every design problem at a fundamental level. We don’t believe in getting into a style. We start with trying to define the forces at play and then create the geometry that resolves it.
We try to fulfill client’s fundamental tactile and psychological needs on the level of practicality and comfort. The focus of the firm has always been to put the best foot forward and create a space that would be recognized for its innovation, experience and architectural expressions. This is achieved through simple yet bold language of stark minimalism and a stunning amalgamation between architecture, art and design.
We like taking design to an extreme at the conceptual stage. We find inspiration in ordinary things, everyday events and chance encounters. The design process looks at sustainability through the multiple lenses of cultural, social and environmental impact. There is an active engagement in integrating localized skills and resources with state of the art materials and technologies.
Attention to detail, proportions and scale, together with common sense ensure the finished product fully develops the potential within the concept. Past and current projects include commercial, residential, hospitality, pharmaceutical, institutional, mixed-use and interior projects.
Extensive use of CAD and computer 3D Modeling, which is done in house, helps the client to visualize their project in the best possible manner. All experimentation with space, light and material can then be done using this platform till the final result is achieved.
