Mobius Classes

The school is primarily intended to help students with their preparation for the highly competitive medical and engineering entrance examinations as well as their board exams thereby eliminating the need for additional coaching.

The topics to be covered are enlisted below:

1) For 12th pass students: Covering the fundamentals + Previous Year question papers of AIEEE and IIT-JEE keeping in mind the pattern of JEE MAINS and ADVANCED.

2) For 11th & 12th students: Covering NCERT (Mathematics: R.D Sharma) books & solving previous year question papers of AIEEE/JEE/Medical entrance exams.

3) For 9th & 10th students: Full coverage of NCERT + Special focus on National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) preparation.

There will be regular and frequent assessment of the students in the form of class tests and take-home tests. This includes one take home-test for every subject every week plus one main test each month.

How this would help the students?

1) Students tend to wander a lot during summer looking for good teachers. I have done the same myself during my High school days in Patna. I hope this summer school will help them by providing quality coaching for all subjects under one roof.

2) The students will get opportunities to interact with other senior students and faculty from the IITs, IISERs, NITs, Medical Colleges and some IAS/IPS officers.

3) There will be a career counseling session during which the students will be exposed to scholarship programs like INSPIRE (Innovation in Scientific Pursuit for Inspired Research ), KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Prothasahan Yojana) and exams including but not limited to the JEE, Olympiads, CMI (Chennai Mathematical Institute) entrance exam, NEST, IISER and NISER entrance exams, UPSC & other COMPETITIVE exams.

4) This summer school will not only help the students to score good marks in the board exams but also prepare them for various competitive exams.

5) Heeding to student requests from last year, a course in Mathematical Physics has been planned. The topics to be covered include Calculus, Graph Plotting, Vectors, Trigonometry and Algebra. This course will supplement Physics and Physical Chemistry.
This summer school is completely a not-for–profit initiative. The student fee is only Rs. 1500 for about 70-75 hours of classes for each subject. The money will be spent in faculty salaries, rent for class rooms, advertisements and on honorarium for the guest lecturers.
Moreover, for a few students from low economic backgrounds, there will be a 100% tuition–fee waiver, provided they can produce a letter signed by their school principal clearly stating their financial position, or an appropriate certificate issued by a government authority.
