Mahakal Group of Institutes was founded by Prasar Shikshan Evam Seva Sansthan (PSSS) with the aim to transform young talent into competent and socially responsible professionals with a global vision. In a decade of academic excellence, it has attained a unique position in the professional education sector in the Central India. Our success story begins from 26th July, 2001. The inauguration of Mahakal Institute of Technology by the then Hon’ble chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Digvijay Singhji laid the foundation of our academic endeavours. Thus, MIT was established in 2001-02 with just 220 students and few faculty members in the varied streams. There were only 4 branches of Engineering viz Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics. The result of our very first semester examination was quite encouraging one. We secured 5 positions in BE I Semester results among all the institutions affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal. At present, MIT is running BE Courses in Electronics and Telecommunication, Computer Science, Information Technology Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering and ME/M. Tech in Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, and Computer Science.


***Mahakal Institute of Computer Science****

On 19 July, 2002 Mahakal Institute of Computer Science and Mahakal Institute of pharmaceutical studies were established. Mahakal Institute of Computer Sciences established to cater to the growing needs of high quality manpower in terms of qualified skilled professionals. It offers 3 years full time Master of Computer Application (MCA) program. It aims to fulfill growing demand of IT sector and provide an opening to the young and dynamic learners of the country.
Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies

In the modern context, the study of Pharmaceutical Science is quite challenging and most rewarding. MIPS Promises to play a vital role in shaping and carving highly skilled Pharmaceutical Professionals who can deliver their noble duties with utmost care for the betterment of humanity. With this objective on 19 July 2002 Mahakal Institute of Pharmaceutical Studies was established. At presently MIPS is commencing B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmacognosy) and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics).The study of Pharmaceutical Science is quite challenging and most rewarding. MIPS Promises to play a vital role in shaping and carving highly skilled Pharmaceutical Professionals who can deliver their noble duties with utmost care for the betterment of humanity.


***Mahakal Institute of Management***

In the year 2003 Prasar Sikshan Evam Seva Sansthan paved the way for Mahakal Institute of Management (MIM).Presently MIM offers management program viz –MBA (Full Time). It is established with twin objectives of developing into an apex center of dissemination of the latest information and techniques of Business and Management. In the inception year itself the results of MIM was 100%. Our 8 students secured top positions in the merit list of Vikram University, Ujjain. We garbed position from 1 to 7 proudly. The Institute continuously strives for the overall development of the students and helps them to imbibe professional ethics and social commitment so that they emerge as competent professionals. MIM has been conceived, planned and developed keeping in the view challenges of the new millennium and to create successful managers of tomorrow.


***Mahakal Institute of Technology and Science***

It was the need of the region and community to have one more Technical Educational Institution at the graduate and post graduate level along with Mahakal Institute of Technology as the success of MIT within a short span of its growth has proved a milestone to fulfill the purpose of education, enhancement in employment opportunities and utilization of inherent abilities of the young generations of the malwa region, state and the country. The refore, MITS was estalished in June, 2006 with intake of 240 students (CS/IT/EC/EI). In 2007 the intake was 360 (30 seats addition in intake CS & EC each) with MCA started as a course with an intake of 60 students. MBA Department was also established in 2008.The growth of MITS Started and proved in good results and placement of very first batch. MITS has many industrial Collaboration like HCL-K2 Academy IBM center of Excellence, Wipro Mission 10 X

**Mahakal Institute of Technology and Management**

Technical education is the need of modern society. Technical innovations are changing the lifestyles and building the nations, prosperity and excellence on the globe. MITM is established in 2007 with a subtle aim to enable the young generation to be an integral part of the growing technological revolution and to impart both form of knowledge i.e. Theoretical and Practical. At the inception days there were 4 branches of engineering viz Electronics & Telecommunication (60 seats) Computer Science (60 seats) Information Technology (60 seats) and Civil (60 seats). From 2008 MITM started Management course with intake of 60 students, as well as intake of 30 students has been increased in computer science. In year 2009, Mechanical Branch with 60 intake and Electronics & Communication with increased intake of 30 has also been approved by AICTE.
