Mira's Kitchen

I have been cooking since the time I was 12 years old. It started off with helping my mother in the kitchen and later converted it to a passion for cooking - not just the regular home meals but learning how to prepare different dishes from friends and other source and trying them out over weekends for the whole family.

After getting married and moving to Bangalore about 10 years ago, my husband
(also a passionate cook), introduced me to a variety of non Indian
cuisines like Lebanese, Italian, Mexican, Greek, and even Japanese.
While maintaing a full time corporate career, I took out time over
weekends and holidays to make these new dishes at home and continued to
perfect them over several years.


After the birth of our first child a year ago and letting go of corporate
life, I have decided to convert my passion for cooking food to a
profession and to that end, I have started a facebook page https://www.facebook.com/mirakitchen
in the hope of eventually opening an enterprise related to food
consulting and catering.


I hope that the variety that I can bring to the table will be a unique
offering to many who crave to eat such food on a daily basis and also
not wanting to get their wallets that much lighter.
