Chamber of Commerce of Ex Servicemen; The Military Chamber

Chamber of Commerce of Ex Servicemen is incorporated as an entity under Section 8 of Indian Companies Act 2013 and has the required license from the Govt to work as Chamber. It is an initiative to provide an umbrella organisation to serve 360 degree social, economical, business, industrial and intellectual capital development needs of following:

1. Established, budding and would be entrepreneurs with military background.

2. Military veterans working in corporate.

3. Spouses and dependents of serving and retired soldiers.

4. Serving soldiers who plan to be active using their entrepreneurship post retirement.

5 Military veterans and their spouses of any age who want to be intellectually socially active.

All above hereafter referred as Military Families.

This initiates aims at creating a fully functional Military chamber in one to two years timeline.

The military chamber shall have following functional divisions working under most competent and qualified top leadership team:

Soldiers are best entrepreneurs with strong survival skills in worst of situations. No wonder many of known successful entrepreneurs come from military families.

Military Families not only promote brand India to develop a trillion dollar economy but also contribute in growth of GDP by undertaking various business ventures and jobs across all spectrum of industry. Military Families are best valued assets of national wealth.

Military Families have tremendous capabilities Their contribution in nation building is the best among social and economic groups in India. They are committed stake holders of India.

Somehow since independence and till now in spite of Military Families possessing best traits, skills and talent they have not synergised their efforts under one organisation which has been a practice in the market.

In open market capitalist economy in democracies, such chambers play a key role in providing basic support services to seed, integrate and bloom business ideas.

Military Chamber of Entrepreneurs shall provide following services to its members:

1. End to end business support services like networking, business development, expansions, funding, restructuring and partnerships to existing business.

2. End to end support services to start up business including testing business ideas, assisting in formulation of business plans, managing funding and incubation services.

3. Intellectual capital development in form facilitating best of education, coaching, skill development, career counseling, placements and immigration.

4. Create a Research and Development cell to carry our market research, identity opportunities and connect these with military families.

5. Provide a platform for conducting various seminars, workshops and business networking events.

6. 80% of the focus of Military Chamber will be on rural economy in all above areas as most of the soldiers come from rural background.

7. All above activities shall be spread in all business and industrial sectors including E Commerce, E Governance and international trade.

8. Make presentations to govt, financial institutions and other key organisations to get policy support for military entrepreneurs.

All above services shall be provided by Military Chamber of Entrepreneurs in partisanship with various associates and experts of their respective fields from within military families and corporates.

Chamber in itself will not undertake any business activities but will only support and integrate various stake holders under one umbrella. It will also connect military families with best of entities in corporate world.

Military chamber however will support formation of sec 8 companies by military families in association with similar organisations from corporate to undertake various projects for their social and economical upliftment.
