Methodist College Of Engineering and Technology was established with the support of Methodist Society of India on the historic Methodist School campus in Abids, Hyderabad that has been a landmark for excellent education for over half a century.

Methodist is a non-minority institute located in the heart of the city, at Abids. The college is well connected by public transport from every corner of the city.

The College is very strict regarding ragging. Ragging is uncivilized besides being an offence. The college has an Anti - Ragging Committee comprising of faculty, management and students.
