Meesapulimala is the second highest peak in the Western Ghats of Idukki district (Kerala) on the Indian subcontinent after Anamudi. Its peak is 2640m above sea level.The name derives from the fact that it is formed of eight peaks which spread like a moustache and it is one of the most difficult mountain to climb over and it is located in Suryanelli around 20km away from Munnar. Kolukkumalai tea estate and Tipadamala is also nearby.Due to its high altitude and beautiful landscape,it is known as Kanchenjunga of South India.Citations----
