Mata Gujri Sahara Trust

Mata Gujri Sahara Trust is an orphanage situated on the outskirts of Patiala on Dakala road. It houses nearly 140 young children. The Trust was started to look after the orphaned children of militants killed or martyred while serving their country. But it now receives children who have lost family in any circumstances.

The children at this Trust are being educated at various institutes within the area. Some of them have managed to pursue higher education abroad with perseverance and hard work.

The Trust also bears the expenses of Anand Karaj (marriage) of the young adults who are of marriageable age and wish to get married.

All the students of this Trust are Amritdhari and take part in Akhand Path Sahib. We welcome anyone who wishes to come here and help with whatever you can.

To sustain and maintain the Trust, we need assistance. Without funding we cannot survive. Donations are used to ensure a good quality of life for the children and to provide for their education and other needs. The Trust is a non-profit and non-government organisation. Anyone can contribute to this cause by donating money/clothes/groceries or any other kind of donation to help these children.

Even if you don't donate, please at least try to visit the Trust when you visit India or the region as it will certainly bring a smile to the the childrens faces.
