Maratha Galli Ganapathi

An Initiation of GANESH UTSAV SAMITI, MARATHA GALLI, HUBLI. ESTD: 1982.
Has a history of Intalling Ganesh Pendals since 1982. Since 1995 the Samiti Started to Install 15 feet and above Ganesh Idol in the city every year which started to get enough publicity in the city, and since 1999 the Samiti took a Prominent Decision to Install ECO-FRIENDLY Ganesha, which will continue forever. The devotees from HUBLI as well as neighboring cities visit to get blessings in large number every year, the idol is on an average 21 feet every year which is royally decorated with Silver feet, Golden teeth, and Golden Rings in Ganesha's fingers. The Artists who design and make the idol hail from Kolkatta, West Bangal. A group of 12-15 Artists make the idol within 25-30 days, under the guidance of Senior Artists Appu Pal & Sapan Pal.
