Established in the year 1996, Mandsaur Institute of Technology, Mandsaur (MIT) now Mandsaur University is a Premier Technical Institute devoted to creation of excellence for higher training, research and development in science, engineering and technology. BRNSS (Sansthan) has been nurturing MIT now Mandsaur University along with its 9 sister concerns in M.P. in the chairmanship of Er. Narendra Nahata. The foundation stone of the Institute was laid on April 17, 1996.

NAAC accredited MIT spread over 33 acres of land & 21000 sq. meter built up area runs Under Graduate and Post Graduate Engineering & Professional courses approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and DTE, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. MIT has signed MOU with IBM for IBM Centre of Excellence. The institute aims to churn out excellent technical manpower through excellence in Management, Instruction and Training.

Today the Institute is recognised as one of the centres of academic excellence in the country. Over the years, there has been a dynamic progress at MIT in all academic and research activities and a parallel improvement in facilities and infrastructure to keep it on equivalence with the best institutions in the country. It imparts training to students to make them competent and motivated engineers and professionals with a culture of enquiry and research through a highly competitive academic environment, close student faculty interaction and leading academic institutions to meet the challenges imposed by the fast changing technology & globalization.
MIT along with 9 other institutes owes its origins to Mandsaur EdUniverse formerly known as BRNSS (Sansthan). Ever since its inception in 1996, MIT has been consistently delivering a pool of competent, motivated and research driven professionals. Its highly competitive academic environment, close student faculty interactions and a strong industry interface has helped train students to navigate the challenges of the changing times.
The Institute keeping with the research oriented approach, so far 1325 research papers have been presented in national and international conferences, and 231 papers have been published in national and international journals.

MIT has 6 engineering degree courses and four post graduate courses along with MBA and MCA. MIT has signed an MOU with IBM and it is an IBM Software Centre of Excellence.
The institute offers graduate engineering programmes in 6 disciplines and post graduate engineering programmes in 4 different streams along with MBA and MCA. The courses focus on all round growth while exploring the latest developments in science and technology. With state of the art facilities, experienced faculty members and an Excellent infrastructure.
