Major HS Kalsi's Baalnoi Academy was founded in 1997 . It's been 20 years now . Baalnoi has more than 15,000 officers in the Armed Forces. 1 in every 4 officers in the Indian Armed Forces is from Baalnoi Academy-Delhi/Jaipur/Dehradun.

Major HS Kalsi is an Ex-NDA officer belonging to 9 Rajputana Rifles. He has seen action in Siachen Glacier (OPERATION MEGHDOOT) and J&K. He distinguished himself as GTO in Selection centre Allahabad from 1993 to 96. Having seen army life both at selection and operational level he packs practical experience and insight to the SSB coaching and is aptly suited to guide candidates who wish to make a career in Armed forces.
