Majhoi - مجہوئی

Majhoi is a village situated beside Srinagar Road 17 kilometers away from the capital of State of Azad Jammu Kashmir. Cliffs of Himalayan Mountains surround this village. River Jehlum Runs through it. It is one of the most beautiful villages of Jehlum Valley. Its spiritual attraction is the Holly Shrine of Hazrat Syed Muhammad Ghazi AlKazmi Commonly Called SHAH BADSHAH, and his miracle commonly known as Shah Ka GHora (Horse) and Shah Ka Chilla. Village has 1 Jamia Masjid called Masjid e Noor, and 3 other Mosques and 1 Imam Bargah. Majhoi has 1 Girls High school, 1 Boys Primary School and 2 Private Schools. Majhoi community comprises of large number of castes including Sadaat ( Gillani, Kazmi, Bukhari and Gardezi), Raajgan (Khakhas and Bambas), Abbasids, Sheikhs, Qureshis, Choudharies, Tareen, and Mughals , makhdoom etc. Although followers of all main school of thoughts of Sunnis And Shiites exist yet There is a great Harmony Among them.
