Majestic City is a seven-storey commercial and shopping complex which is located in Bambalapitiya, Sri Lanka, near the Bambalapitiya Railway Station. C.T. Land Development PLC is the owning company of Majestic City.The late Mr. Albert A. Page is the founder chairman of the complex. In 2012 the level 5 of Majestic City was refurbished and three new cinemas (Superior, Gold and Ultra) were set up including the Sri Lanka's First 3D cinemas (Superior).Majestic CineplexMajestic Cineplex includes four cinemas managed by Ceylon Theaters Ltd, MC-Platinum Cinema - 445 seats MC-Ultra Cinema - 150 seatsMC-Gold Cinema - 50 seats MC-Superior 3D Cinema - 170 seatsPlatinum cinema which is located in level 4 was built in 1990 as a 2D hall and in 2013 it was refurbished and upgraded to a 3D cinema using Dolby® 3D technology
