Maharaja Agrasen University

Maharaja Agrasen University is a private university in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, India. It was founded by Dr. Nand Kishore Garg in the town of Barotiwala in 2013. Maharaja Agrasen University was inaugurated by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, President of India on 25 May 2013. The university established under Maharaja Agrasen (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2012 (Act. No. 15 of 2013) is in the picturesque backdrop of Kasauli Hills.LegacyMaharaja Agrasen University follows the noble and pious legacy of Maharaja Agrasen, born during the last stages of Dwapar Yuga who established the kingdom of Agroha, in Haryana. His monarchy consisted of 18 units. Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society established in 1998. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Delhi established in 1999. MAIT is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and presently has 4000 students. Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies Delhi, established in 2003.CampusMaharaja Agrasen University administrators began a long-term effort to strengthen Maharaja Agrasen University's reputation both nationally and internationally. Interdisciplinary work was emphasized, as was recruiting diverse faculty and their initiative Reaches Goal Early.The campus spans 16acre.
