The region is fragmented in small localities that are connected with small roads. Most of the people living here are Government employees and high paid job holders. Like many areas in the town this is also a developing area. Famous Krishna temple called Gokulam is situated in this township. The temple covers an area of 2 and half acres and stood as the main attraction to the Kakinada town people. Compared to other developing areas, the house rents are also quite less.
