LOHIT HOSTEL

LOHIT hostel was opened for residence of boys on 20-10-14. It is the 10th boys hostel in IIT Guwahati Hostel fraternity. It has turned out to be, so far, one of the best hostel in terms of cleanliness and infrastructure. Once completed, it will be the largest hostel in IIT-G with a capacity of 956 rooms. Currently, only 1st yearites of B.Tech., M.Tech. and Ph. D. are residing.

It is still under construction and 2 blocks have been completely built and well equipped with all the basic necessities like water filters, reading room and washing machines. There's a temporary mess arrangement for the hostel.

This hostel promises to bring exciting colours to the campus by its variety of talents and students.
