Lanka high school

Lanka high school is situated at the Central Point of Lanka Town which is situated in the southernmost part of Nagaon District in Assam. Lanka is almost 180 Km away from Guwahati , the capital of Assam and 65 Km away from Nagaon, the district headquater town. It is well connected with road ways and railways. The National Highway No. 37 passes through the town.
Lanka high school was established in the year 1950. It is a provincialised school. The school enjoys the reputation of being a truly cosmopolitan institution of learning. During the span of 60 years this institution promoted the cause of school education with meritorious service to the society and despite the fact that it is still fed by the students of average merit.
