Krishnagar Collegiate School - KCS

Krishnagar Collegiate School is one of the oldest and heritage school in India...It's a goverment school which Ested in 1846 with along Krishnagar College..and it was situated in Post-Office More where now the post office is situated...The first pricipal of our school was Captain Devid Lestor Richardeson,who took up his chaged in 28th November 1846....There were also three Europian and ten Indian teachers with along him...They were Mr.Bradburp,Mr.Beatson,Mr.Beanland,Sree Ramtanu Lahiri,Sree Modon Mohan Tarkalankar...There was only 238 students when the school was started...In the year 1908 of the month January our school was shifted in the Kha Nivas called "Hoimanti Bhavan"...But after 20 years in 1928 it was permanently shifted to the house of Sree Monmohan Ghosh who was a Barister...
