Khetia

Khetia is a town and a nagar panchayat (municipal council) in the Barwani district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. From Maharashtra State, it can be reached by road from Shahada, Nandurbar, and Dhule. It is located 32 km west of Newali. Khetia is situated at the border of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh and is well-connected via railways and airports.Khetia is one of the most important cities in the Barwani District. It is the largest supplier of cotton within Madhya Pradesh.The mayor of Khetia is Amrut Bagul, and the city consists of Corporators Sunil Pati, Yuvraj Bagul, and Suryakant Yesikar. Khetia is associated to MP State Mandi Board, and it is used for farmers to sell their products. The current chairman of Mandi Board Khetia is Manohar Patel.Khetia City is well connected with Maharashtra. A popular tourist destination, Kochara Mata, is 3 km away.
