Khader Nawaz Khan Road also known as KNK Road is Chennai's half-kilometre stretch of potholes held together by tar, but some of the city's swankiest stores line it. Khader Nawaz Khan Road, once part of a gift made over to the British in 1708, it is now on the way to becoming the high-end High Street of Chennai, where big brands and little shops congregate to make a great shopping destination.

Over the past three years, Khader Nawaz Khan Road has exploded into the stylish shopper's ultimate stop. At least 15 of the city's and even the country's biggest brands are spread out along this golden mile.
