Established in the year 1964, KV MEG & Centre is situated between St Johns Road and KKamaraj Road.The Vidyalaya has classes from I to XII with Science and commercestream.The Vidyalaya has been contributing its yeoman services in promoting thespirit and ideals of education harnessed and guided by KVS for the differentsections of the society

The vidyalayahas a pupil Strength of 2374 and staff strength of 90 .The Vidyalaya provides ahealthy and conducive environment to its children, to excel in both curricularand extracurricular activities .The Vidyalaya which has grown in stature and inits infrastructural facilities with a computer department of 80 PC. ScienceLabs and library facilities , has been producing marvellous results in X andXII examinations qualitatively ,thus mirroring the very essence of teaching andlearning process.Competently manoeuvred by the Principal ,an active supportgroup of VMC and PTA and staff with unprecedented level of commitment, theschool is marching ahead towards excellence

World classorganization: An organization that is equipped with the state of the arteducational technology, infrastructural facilities and more importantly preparednesson the part of teachers, students and other staff members to employ these inday-to-day functioning of the Vidyalaya.

Continuallyempowering teachers: In a knowledge society, up-gradation of knowledge andpedagogical skills are a must to remain relevant for the future students. KVSorganizes several in-service courses, capacity building programmes for theteachers and other staff members.

Actualizeinside out synergy: Every school activity leads to development of student-physical development and/or cognitive/intellectual development and/oremotional/spiritual development. The word inside synergy refers to perfectbalance in these dimensions so that there is perfect harmony between head, handand heart. Incorporating out- inside out synergy refers to balancedpersonality synergizing with external world and circumstances to create greatworks. The word �actualize� signifies that the seed for such inside out synergyis innate and not an external addition and our role is to ensure its manifestation.This is in line with the definition of education by Swami Vivekananda,�Education is manifestation of perfection already in man�.

Futuristicsocietal, national and global needs and aspirations: Such exalted individualwould add tremendous value to life and fulfill needs and aspirations of thesociety, the nation and the world. Individual needs has been deliberatelyavoided not to emphasise on the self. An individual would really becontributing when he/she has risen above his personal self.
