Kendriya Vidyalayas are pace setting institutions in the country and Kendriya Vidyalaya Mysore in Karnataka is no exception
This school came into existence on 01-07-1993 under Civil Sector with classes I to V in a temporary accomodation in DFRL campus with strength of about 100 students
The school has since then grown under the valuable and resourceful guidance of the VMC, sincere efforts of the staff and the hard work of students into a leading Kendriya Vidyalaya in the region
Now we have a beautiful spacious building with all infrastructure facilities located in GITB Press Campus with a strength of 1450 students and 52 dedicated staff
Located in the midst of peaceful and serene atmosphere in the city of palaces, Mysore, the school caters to the academic and co-curricular needs of children from various walks of life
The vidyalaya has three sections from Class I to X, two sections for XI and XII , offering Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Computer Science, Maths/Hindi and English as subjects in Senior Secondary Section
