Kankaria Carnival

Gujarat Tourist Guide glad to inform you that, from today is started Kankaria Carnival 2013 at Ahmadabad’s city in Kankaria Lake area of Maninagar.

The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has shared the details of upcoming Kankaria Carnival 2013 which is to be held during 25 December to 31 December. Unlike previous years, Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi is not coming to inaugurate the festival. Below are the details of this year’s Kankaria carnival:
New Attractions in Kankaria Carnival 2013:-
The Bhoomi pujan and inauguration of 35 different works worth is Rs.120 crore.
Approximately 70 minute is long Mega audio visual performance under the theme of ‘Ame Utsav Premi Amdavadi’, involving more than 125 artists.
Aero modeling: Unmanned helicopters, gliders, powered aero planes, Quoadcopter, hex copter, line control aero plane, on 29-30-31 December for 25 minutes on foot ball ground and Naginavadi plot.
The Opening of New roller coaster, fruits ride and Panchatantra vatika’s in crocodile and monkey tale at Balvatika at Kankaria Lake
The Live show will be performed by students of city schools, colleges and private institutes. Thousands of citizens took pleasure of this entertainment Event. It will be true to say that, the shinning of colorful laser lights spreading over waters of Kankaria Lake were catching eyes of every visitor.
This year the wonderful Kankaria carnival can see performances approximately from at least 50 schools and specialized establishments from Ahmedabad city.
