K V No. 1 AFS Adampur

Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 (AFS) Adampur was established in 1965 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan New Delhi, which is an autonomous body managed by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Education, Govt. of India. It is a model school having classes from I to XII. The Vidyalaya has about 1400 students with a qualified staff strength of 60. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 was established at Air Force Station Adampur in 1965. The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body run by Human Resource Development, the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, New Delhi. Primarily, it caters to the educational needs of the children of transferable Defence Personnel, Central Govt. Employees and Personnel of All India Services. Besides, other floating population can be granted admission subject to the availability of the seats. This Vidyalaya prepares pupils for AISSE and AISSCE conducted by the C.B.S.E., New Delhi.
